In this One-Night package, we will cover most places in and around Alleppey.
Day 1: Embarkation at Alleppey
Embark on our boat by noon. Our welcoming team onboard will help you with smooth check-in. Gather at the lounge for a safety briefing about the boat, cruise route, food menu and stay, etc. Then, we set sail.
The cruise starts from Punnamada Lake and moves towards the canals. We sail through different villages towards the south direction of Alleppey and reach Moonnatiinmugham(where 3 rivers Pamba, Achankovil, and Meenachilar join together) and then reach Kainakary for a night halt at 5.30 pm.
By Evening if you are interested we will be able to arrange a narrow canal ride at an extra cost where we will be having a closer look at the harmonious life of the village people. You can also enjoy the beauty of lush green paddy fields, palm-fringed lagoons, different species of birds, etc all along the way. (If you are interested in the ride you will have to mention it at the time of booking)
Day 2:
The cruise starts at 8.00 am and sails through Vembanad Lake (The second largest freshwater lake in India) along with breakfast, on the way you can see different sizes of big paddy fields reclaimed from the lake by farmers. You can enjoy the village people’s daily activities like farming, fishing, collecting clams, toddy tapping, etc, and reach Punamada Lake. This lake is the venue of the annual spectacular race of Snake boats every year on the second Saturday of August. We disembark by 9 AM.
